  • Its not mambo on2 style

  • Whats the big deal !! When the song is playing the couple dance on2 or NY Style. then then broke them out on1 or LA style and at the end they do it on2 again. thats not complicated.

  • i thought in salsa mambo on 2 the hast to start with the left foot back not forward.

  • Sorry man, good video, but to dance salsa, it´s necesary to have "flavor". I´m from Mexico and tfis is what I see, and obviously I can dance salsa very well. Greetings

  • @pimponzito All due respect, I'm sure you dance well, so how about you post a video and show us exactly how to have "flavor", since you say they have none.

  • Are this moves danced On2 at the very beggining of the vid? Because I can´t count them, I do my stuff On1... it's kinda confusing...

  • good video i been learning alot from these tutorials check my videos out

  • anyone has this song in 320 kbps!!!??.. cant find it anywhere.... plz send me link.. thanks!!!

  • Yo!

    Great song 2 listen 2.

    Grtz Jef

  • I love this shit! I need a lesson

  • Jajajaja, no sabia q Cantinflas tenia hijos.

  • verdaderamente falta el sabor al bailar

  • As beautiful as the beginning was but I didn't feel enough passion. I felt it was safe rather than giving it your all..but that's just me. Either way looked good.

  • thanks a lot :)

  • With that woman I can also learn in a couple of steps :D

  • Very cool!!!

  • Sorry About that my friend who teaches salsa told me it may have belonged to Cano but he wasn't surel,,i just took his word...i am sorry I am not a salsa nerd like you SALSABIDURIA...i just appreciate the music and dance...i am sorry if i broke your sensitive heart by getting it wrong i was trying to help...get over it...get a life... thanks..

  • THIS IS ONLY SALSA , NO SALSA MAMBO.

  • @buscador18.In Mambo we take a short step foward on 1 with our R F, then take a long step foward "Breaking" -changes direction- on 2 with our L F (N,Y Style Mambo) step in place on 3 with R F. (we step over the 4 + 8 ) Count 1,2,3 -5,6,7 makes faster, creative and more excitting moves.

In Salsa you take a long step forward with L F and "Break" on 1, step in place on 2 with R F, returns L F to starting possion on 3.. 1.2.3(4) - 5,6,7(8) pauses on 4+8

I love the music and I love them both..!

  • @buscador18 buscador18 I own you a big time appologies.! All I wacthed was the dancing part and noticed he broke in on 6-7 and heard him say N.Y Style Mambo didn't look any futher because if it don't apply I let it fly, this is more for Advance Biginners then for Advance dancers as sugested. Anyway, I decide to see the break down and noticed him breaknig on 1 with his LF, counting 123-567 but dancing with the 4-8 pause..

  • ima get a girl like that as my girlfriend =]

me voy a consegir una novia como esa bellesa bailando =]

  • q guille tiene el cabron ese

  • the name of the song is SOY PROFESIONAL by Cano Estremera. Puerto Rican salsero...

  • @ggarcia301 I think its by Justo Betancourt?

  • @ggarcia301 Yo that is Justo Betancourt. You know no shit about Salsa. THis is not the voice of Cano. He is the same guy that sings Pa, bravo you.

  • Me usta mucho como bailan excelente y la chava muy muy bonita y sensual

  • Hmm no esta mal, pero a la chica le falta sensualidad para el baile.

  • mis respetos pero bailan muy jorobados

  • I know these people, they are dancers from San Diego.

  • what´s the title of the songat the beginning of this video??

  • You guys truly are awesome, both as teachers and dancers...Keep up the great work!!

  • WOW!!! Amazing!!!

  • How about a Dance involving - 2 Flame Throwers, Harvs' place.

  • 100% de acuerdo contigo!!!!!!

  • wow!

  • Thanks for posting!

  • oh that dance at beggining was freakin' AWESOME I wish I could dance like that (oh I will, believe me ;)) and have someone to dance with...

I'm on salsa learning thanks to you ;D

  • Salsa rulez! What a brilliant dance =) I feel free when I dance it

    Paz.

  • No, he dances pretty much better than the lady, con mas sabor, por supuesto que es latino, look well at first minutes before the class. I'm from Peru, love salsa, merengue, bachata and ballenato; would like to learn mambo.

  • Salsa has nothing to do with skins color, social status or age, everybody can learn it, we always say if you can walk, you can dance.

Thank you apersaud for posting this video.

  • @Danielyprospero biggest misconception EVER!

  • Can anyone sugges good salsa songs?:)

  • celia cruz has good salsa songs,

I also like juan luis guerra, but that's merengue

  • I saw your recommendation and searched for celia cruz's songs, she's amazing! thanks a lot! =D

  • Can any one tell us the name of the song?

  • Justo Betancourt......Soy Profesional

  • Please what is the name of the song?

    Pleeeeeeease!!!

  • this isnt new york style ny style i on 2 this is on 1

  • Yes it is NY on2.

  • its not on2 cuz wen we dance on 2 instead of the guys moving forward on 123 we move backwords and moving foward is 567

  • On2 means that you break on the 2 and 6 counts, not the direction in which you are moving.

It doesn't even matter what style it is, since these moves can be done with any style of salsa. These exact moves are staples of LA style salsa, which is on1.

  • ok but it is sayin its new york style and its kind of miss leading because this is on 1 where here in ny we dance on2

  • Comment removed

  • no it isnt i know i live in ny

  • I love this. You two have such great combinations. I've been a rut with my dancing and your videos allow me to practice and present new challenges for combinations.

  • love it--thanks again for ladies' styling tips, Julie. Big help for that awkward "no longer a beginner" stage I'm in. Sometimes it's difficult to know what to do to move to the next level.

  • love this song - what is it?

  • You two are AWESOME!!!

  • tnx anthony...keep up the good job!!!

  • Class act again. Thanks Anthony (and Julie). Great stuff. I'll try using it tonight in Chicago.

  • very cool, enjoy listening to your instructions. best is that you show it on1 and on2. keep going

  • Oh and one more thing, thanks for the subtitles.

  • Sweet. I do something similar to the blind windmill but in a different direction. I love watching your videos, They present a challenge and keep me wanting more... So keep them coming.

  • What a nice move...love it!

  • What's the difference between a normal combo and a 'mambo-style' combo..?

  • Comment removed
