The show had some inaccuracies, like a P47 opening fire on a B17. But that aside, it's a timeless classic. When the show was running, I wasn't even in school yet, but I remember watching it with my brother. The theme music has stuck to me ever since. They sure don't make shows like this anymore!

If you've ever had the pleasure of seeing B17s at an air show, they DO sound like that. Unmistakable.

Yes they are. Just google Twelve O'clock High - you'll find several sources. The good ones are expensive, though.
