Mayby I'm just sentimental, but after Theli, Therion started to loose their unique atmosphere of mystery, magic and paganism. Today Therion makes easy songs for good children but they lost their SOUL

Well sometimes, but very often it is not progress, which means positive development, but slack in quality/creativity and more commercially orientation, made for the masses etc. Take metallica and megadeth, its not called progress, even if you have the choice. Also look at genesis, incredible quality and distinction in the beginning, reduced to pop...

@Stargazar the true therion ended in 2007 after the split up, gothic kaballah is still a great album, which deserves to be listen... sitra ahra is totally different... but i agree especcially Theli is something unique...

@drevilrodrigues I totally agree, I really liked the Niemann brothers their appearance by Therion. They defenitly fitted by Therion and they changed it. But in the metal way making it awesome by Christofer/Thomas's mysterious music. Secret of the Runes for an example, strong album, good metal and true Therion. Kristian Niemann is an awesome guitarist and he knows what he is doing :-)
