hi im new to logic etc. i just bought logic pro 9, and it came with a cd saying install ableton, i wasn't sure whether to install it too, what is the point. why do people want to know how to put loops from logic into ableton? why not just just use logic? is ableton good. Appriciate any help. thanks!
@girlaccount1 I use logic as a composition tool and ableton as a performance tool. I have found that ableton works better for hooking up multiple midi interfaces, controllers, etc... I am still experimenting with all this but it seems ableton is better for performance
I've been wanting to do something very similar to this. How would you propose getting the midi tracks out of Logic into Ableton. Furthermore, can this be done as shown with Logic 8 as well? Thanks and cheers for the great vid!
@CandlegravityStudio midi export from logic is fairly easy... I cna post a video of how I do it.... the trick is to have everthing bounce out as ever bars 2,.4,8, whatever. as long as the bars are even your good... even progm data can migrate
When i do this, the audio doesnt play. Im wondering if its because I bounced everything in mp3?? Or is it something else?
