  • Just learned they'll be headlining at a local air show. I'm excited to see them, but at the same time, our airshow has consistently booked the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds every other year, so i'm a little disappointed since this was to be the Blues' year. I hope they're good, but unfortunately, i heard they arent loud, which is what i look for during jet performances

  • all soviet jets... I like it!!!

  • I got to meet a few of the guys today in Mobile, Al. They were flying to Lakeland, Fl for an airshow. These were some of the nicest men I have met. They really love to fly and enjoy doing it. They also have jobs and still find time to entertain the public. Way to go guys! Thank you so much for doing all that you do..Fly safe !

  • saw 'em in oskosh. they're really good

  • saw these guys at the great ga airsow they rock

  • I just them at Pittsburgh Airshow today. Boy, they're really good, and ilke ptbpilot said, they're not loud but they're really good. Seeing Mig-17 in the line up, I was thinking they might do a simulated dog fight. That would have been awesome!!

  • I also saw them in pittsburg great show but one very very very close call by a solo pilot.

  • going to see them today in Pittsburgh,so excited.

  • these guys are gonna be here at pittsburgh for the wings over pittsburgh airshow sept. 10th and 11th. unfortunately ill be working the 10th but ironicly i work at the airport haha. maybe ill see em.

  • I saw these guys at the Toronto International Airshow today, Sept 3, 2011. They were awesome. I thought that they had a Mig 17 or 19 flying with them ?

  • The L-39 is a beautiful aircraft! Man, oh man, are these guys lucky to be able to afford them. $200,000-$300,000 a piece, and maintaining cost and what ever jet fuel they use. These aircraft are quite has hell, but they are just like the T-38. Stunning, beautiful, rather small, and very agile. Saw the team today, and these aircraft left an impression.

  • jet team looks cool and all but from what i remember L-39s are kind of quite. and i like the noise. but i still would like to see them one day, but rather a louder team like the Blues

  • they need F-22's

  • I saw them yesterday at Bagotville / Canada on their first presentation in CA. The low altitude pass is insane! As told, they are not loud as we "see" at F16 or F18 shows but it worth to see their show! Nice video, by the way :)

  • I just saw Heavy Metal Jet Team on Saturday, May 28th at St Augustine, Florida. Damn good show. Good Precision flying but not quite as in your face like the Thunderducks or the Blues. Snort Snodgrass is always fun to watch!

  • They're very good. Just not loud. Two of the Diamond pilots are former Thunderbirds. The soloist is the legendary Dale 'Snort' Snodgrass of 30 years of F-14 Tomcat fame on the airshow circuit. He literaly flies circles around the diamond. You won't be disappointed.

  • How good are they compared to the blue angels??

they got cancelled here in Rockford,IL for a flying violation a week ago...so these guys are replacing them nexx week...how were they and how long is the performance!?!? PLEASE REPLY!!!

  • @hockey161616 , they flew for about 25 minutes
