It was great, but I was confused as to when the ninja got a CI. In the first one, he was using the FM system. So apparently, he decided to get the CI in between the films. However, it is disappointing to see him with a CI, because it was exciting to see him as a Deaf character without a CI. Couldn't you just make another character hero with a CI and let the Ninja be Deaf without a CI? We need to show deaf children they can do anything they want--except hear--without needing be more hearing.

I'm not sure Deaf Ninja's CI has anything to do with his being more hearing. Lots of culturally Deaf people get CIs for the sake of music and whatever. I think the taboo isn't as strong as it once was, mostly BECAUSE people realize that a CI doesn't, and shouldn't make you hearing. I like the CI. By the way, original Deaf Ninja didn't have an FM system, he had a really old-school hearing aid. :-)

2nd of all, someone down ther in the comments pretty much screamed with type that DAEFNESS IS NOT A DISABILITY. hey, not 2 burst ur bubble or anything, but it is. I wear glases, and i consider that to be a disability, too. i can't read signs from far away, & u cant hear. it's as simple as that! bi the way, dduxliger is an idiot, through and through, though subtitles would help! how in the world can you say that Deaf people are disabled? since most of them are born like that or become Deaf at a very young age they dont know wany different, you know what seeing without glasses is, you struggle with that, but Deaf people for the most part dont know what hearing is because they have never heard before and therefore dont miss it. To say YouTube is for videos with audio only is horribly exclusive. It's true that this video can't be fully experienced without a knowledge of ASL or at the very least, a creative mind, but as an ASL signer with deaf parents, this video is solid gold and I can't think of a better place for it. I would encourage the people who are interested in this video but are totally lost to try to pick up some ASL, it is a very good median for the performing arts and there is a lot more stuff out there.
