  • Who is this knucklehead? Has he ever had a girlfriend? I doubt it!

  • You don't know what you're talking about, and you're obnoxious. I regularly cook with my laptop nearby and it doesn't interfere with anything. It's clear you don't know anything - but I look forward to hearing what else you reckon'!

  • Have you never heard of Dr Vogel's research on Olive oil? Evidence is there that it contributes to the same changes in cardiovascular function as other saturated fats. Don't mistake enthusiasm for truthful information.

  • Lol, vegetarian spewing nonsense?

  • The small ye-know 90.0001% chance he will not have a show.

  • hello i'm not leaving my sun dried black olives since i found i can air dry jar humidity & daughter doesn't get acidic tongue from enthusiasm for a few now. but that unflat value's not even close to its oil for me if research's verifiable vitamin e's neglible in such form yet fruit measures high. however further the oil's what i pulled back from digestably while leap for olives not just lipid @ a time. coconut's similar, from husk i can sense context texture right/not. not pressed so what perse~

  • fat is good for you, just watch the carbs you eat with it

  • olive oil is good?

  • Great video, thanks for promoting healthy eating - my favorite salad is a red leaf lettuce with some minced garlic, a little olive oil/vinegar sauce, dash of salt and pepper, avocado, carrots, cucumber and asian eggplant that has been baked about 15 minutes and then made into a paste

  • cold pressed virgin olive oil, a good quality one, always unheated, is excellent vegetable oil that is alkaline in the body. Just never heat it. Organic high quality coconut oil is excellent too - nver heat this either. Avocadoes...the best natural fat in the world too. Eat as many avocadoes as you wish. It is a good fat. When i was healing from near death 3 years ago i ate 6 to 8 avocadoes per day & did not gain weight but i was eating 85% raw, no grains, dairy or meat either.

  • @Emmisha 6 to 8 avocadoes a day? I think most would agree that in no diet is that a healthy thing...

  • @ocergnairb

Avocadoes are one of the most nutritious foods on the planet with natural, beautiful life-giving and life-sustaining elements that are necessary for health. Do some research. I am healthy and alive.

  • @Emmisha great to know that

  • people have different body types, apparently for me and 45% of Amercia blood type o, avocados are bad for us

  • this is incorrect. The hippocrates health center has dismissed this.

  • @mefree2

very good point. your blood type diet is very good to know even if you don't adhear to it completely. though I know many people have healed using it. no food is going to be good for everyone.

  • @mefree2

That is ridiculous. Avocadoes give the body essental fats and vitamins and the body type thing is a fad with no meaning.

  • My favorite salad: Fattoush! Not 100% raw, but delicious nonetheless.

  • favorite salad - baby spring mix, 1/2 avocado, freshly ground black pepper, red onion, cucumber - honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar dressing ... double yum

  • i just eat whole raw nettles. thats my best salad. fold the sting inside and you will not get stung and even if you do the saliva will neutralise it. they are also a great FREE superfood. but curly kale, dulse, leek avacado and cucumber is also boom boom. olive slows down my digestion too much so i just use avo's and olives for my fat content. can you do a show about satvic, rajasic and tamasic foods or what is your overstanding there? big love from not so great britain

  • you have very healthy looking skin, great video

  • whats the music at the end ?? i like it:)

  • Thanks for answering that avocado question. I was having some doubts about the fruit but now i know it's ok for me to have an avocado in my salad.

Answering your "Question of the Day," my favorite salad is the kind my mom makes. She creates a dressing out of some olive oil and rice vinegar and mixes it into baby greens of different varieties. Every salad has different toppings. Today there were sunflower seeds, walnuts, avocados, peaches, and red/white onions. It's very yummy.

  • you should never put fruits, dried or fresh in salads as these require different enzymes to digest. The result is that neither digest & these ferment or rot in the intestines creating more body acids & food for fungus & parasites. Pay attention to body after eating one of those mixed salads. do you have some gas later or distended belly? that is fermentation. Fruit should always be eaten on an empty stomach, wait 20 - 30 minutes before eating anything else. Check out proper food combining.

  • @Emmisha

this is very true. of course you don't need to worry about it too much if you are digesting well. if not, definitely avoid a big salad with a big dessert after and yes, you may want eat your fruit all by itself.

  • My favorite salad at the moment is baby romaine, half an avocado diced up, tomato, shredded carrot, pineapple, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries. I make my own raw apple cider vinegar dressing too...delicious!!

  • Great answers!

  • I love any salad with arugula!

  • excellent video!

  • romaine, and tomatoes, with avocado dressing(avocado, apple cider vinegar, jalapenos, sea salt, and cayenne)!

  • my favorite salad would be, dandelion greens, spinach, broccoli, chick peas, cucumber, and grapefruit.. with apple cider vineger as dressing.

  • My question: Kevin, have you heard of Oil Pulling and if so, what do you feel about it? My boyfriend and I are thinking of trying it to help with oral and sinus health. Do you feel this is a reasonable practice to do?

My favourite salad is avocado/tomato on a bed of spinach with a bit of cracked salt and pepper ^_^

  • Are olives naturally salty, I bought some olives with no added salt the ingredients but it states on the label that the salt content is quite high.

  • My favorite salad right now is a cucumber, a big tomato and a carrot all diced up with some sea salt and olive oil sprinkled on top of it and with some homemade guacamole on the side.

  • Coconut oil DOES burn fat. The 'all saturated fats are bad' fallacy is disinformation. Olive Oil is packed with vitamin E but cooking with it makes it rancid which renders is as toxic as all the store bought heat processed "healthy" (lie) unsaturated oils. Coconut & Grape Seed oils are best to fry with because it handles the heat better. Peer reviewed research shows this. AMA would rather you get heart disease than know this. Sad but true. Thanks again Kevin 8^D

  • Depending on the company, the goji powder I have seen is actually the dried JUICE of the goji berries. So a bag of it is very expensive but it's REALLY potent. I think it's the same nutrient content/ratio as well. Just a different way of eating them!

  • You always get 5 stars from me. Careful you don't spill your juice, you may short out the keyboard. Heh! Rock on...
