what type of screen cam are you using
As specified in the sidebar, I used "Camtasia" for the screen capture. This was awhile ago, so I'm not certain which version it was.

when you put on the openSUSE lin ux on it, did you have to use a CD to install it to virtualbox?

No, I installed it from the ISO file.
When setting up the VM, you can choose to mount either a physical CD/DVD Drive, or an ISO File (disc image).
