@gaming0wiz - Yes, the Boss loop stations are especially expensive. I increased the amount of inputs to my loop station by adding A-B selectors. I would have the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, and looped vocals all inputted into my loop station, however only one would be selected at a time. This would enable me to avoid feedback or accidentally looping an unwanted sound.
@JaredFunari smart!! so i would be good to buy the rc-2 rather then the one pictured in the video and be able to have multiple inputs with bass, guitar, piano, vocals ect?
@gaming0wiz Yes. it's not actually increasing the inputs, it's just allowing you to essentially choose between as many instruments as you want. This way you aren't unplugging one instrument to then have to plug in another one. If you've ever had 2 guitars plugged into the same source you know what happens when you set one down and forget to turn the volume off. Feed back. This trick eliminates that. There may be fancier ways to achieve the same result but this one works great.
@TheYahooclub - All my gear, other than the tuner, is Boss. I've been particularly happy with the effects pedals Boss has on the market. And after playing around with other loop stations, I was most satisfied with the control Boss's RC-50 gave me. I have yet to play around with the RC 300. From what I gather it is pretty much the RC-50 with effects, longer looping capabilities, and slightly more control per phase along with the stereo input for each phase. And of course the expression pedal.
Your loop station is the last pedal in your effect line. So your Pod XT should come before that. If you are utilizing the panning effects then you'll want to come out of the loop station in stereo into your 12 channel mixer, and the stereo out into your PA, computer, or speakers.
the finish on the guitar and pickups are different on the gibson "studio" series than the "faded" les pauls. was just wich of the two it was. and if you where using the stock pickups
Liam, these are just the stock pickups and this is a studio series. This guitar sounds great dry, and it plays great through a variety of effects. Definitely my favorite of my electrics.
@MrDeathmen13 - 2x Fender FM 4x12" Solid State. I also use a Fender 250watt Powered Base Cab with a crossover that sends all the lower frequencies to the base cab. When you're putting as many frequencies through an amp as I did, you can't use tube powered amps. So the solid states work great. The PA system was only for my vocals.
You have shown every guitar player out there that hard work does pay off...fantastic playing and incredible mastering of the stomp boxes...and its an original composition....take a bow friend.....GREAT JOB!!!!!!
@stendek73 Thank you. And yes, I built these myself. This is actually the 4th pedal board I've built. I finally went with individual boards since carrying a 6 foot long pedal board is not the most efficient way haha
@cantarooots , thank you for the fantastic imagery. I tore my mind in half to write this song. I specifically wrote it for this competition (to no prevail) but I'll be recording a studio version before years end. Thanks again.
awesome video! I can't understand why so many poeple clicked dislike...
