3DS, FYI: Europe, including England, has different plug ins for electronics.. games also come in PAL format, so you'll have to either buy one there, that you can't use in the US or import your games over the UK. -_- . eitherway, i'd go for the 3DS.

If your getting the 3DS, the graphics for Pokemon White are going to be bad. But overall the 3DS does have good graphics for most games.

Get DSi XL, you can play the games for a longer period of time. The DSi XL runs for at least 8 hours on one battery charge, while the 3DS only has 4 hours of game time.

Whoa. I literally thought about this last month an i bought a DsiXL. The 3Ds is the newest thing, but it's hard to concentrate on when playing games. The 3D is only in a certain spot an It strains your eyes. But it's cool and has a lot of cool features! The DsiXL is better as of now because its battery life is really long and its easy/big/doesn't strain your eyes. I'd say DsiXL and if you want to, buy the next version of the 3Ds because itll probably have the problems fixed.

3ds ftw lol ;) i had both the 3ds and dsi xl sooo i think the 3ds is better. it is clearer than the xl and it's realy cool since well you'll see if you get one.... 1 hint: there are ar cards with the 3ds, which you can take pictures with characters like pokemon with a hologram image on the card.. cool, huh? u can make a mii on there too. and it has better picture quality, because you can take 3d photos. psyched i could help. ;)

if you really can't wait to get a new DS i would go with the DSiXL just because the 3DS can effect your eyes after playing on the 3D mode for longer than 30 minutes, but if i were you i would wait a bit longer because they still are doing research on the 3DS about how it can effect your eyes. glad i could help!

3DS has better games coming out in a few months, I would wait on it but If you were crazy about pokemon on gameboy a whie back then It would probably be a good idea to get the XL so you can log hundreds of hours on it and go crazy! ;)
