Everyone always gives Kate alot of flack.Come on people just imagine yourself with that many children.Kate simply wants order in her life.I mean you would have to with that many kids or it would be a total disaster.Jon seems like a great father but he is a man and alot of the things she wants him to do most men hate doing.She can be bossy and demanding but she is under alot of stress and pressure.

They originally played this episode as a two-parter with the "cow purchase" episode. They are both two of my favorites. I marveled at how well those little three-year-olds and seven-year-olds ate organic stirfry and seaweed. Kudos to Kate for instilling healthy eating habits in these kids. I know plenty of kids much older than the Gosselin kids who would turn their noses up at that kind of meal.
