Any luck finding gold? I went there a few times and the only thing I found were a lot of tiny gold specks (and a lot of it is probably pyrite) in the river's sand along the shore and the little inlet with stagnant water where James Marshall first found gold. If there's any gold left that no one took yet, I think it's probably in the middle of the river where's it's hard to reach b/c of the current, depth, and getting wet. Or you have to dig.
I have been there! I went on a trip with my school over there for 3 days and 2 nights! WOW! I am soooo glad I saw this! Thank you soooooo much for sharing! A whole bunch of memeroies! =)
