i'm 29, male, and i love ballet. but jesus christ will someone tell me how is it possible that they are able to stand on their toes in such a way without any padding? :-o

@acedaface954 they do wear padding, most likely it's gel pads, lambs wool, or ouch pouches, there are different paddings you can use

I've gone to the nutcracker every christmas since i was 6yrs. old now I'm 28 and taking my 6yr old niece. keeping the tradition alive!

Quite beautiful. Choreography could've been more elegant and better, but she did perfect temps leve, jetes, and oh those wonderful pirouetes and piques! But Clara should've been a younger dancer, as usual, and the sugar plum faery needs a pink based outfit!!!!!!!!!!!

@francofile714 Whenever i am doubting myself (Will i ever be that flexbile? skinny? strong? won't i miss social life, do i have what it takes? should i keep being so devoted?) i look at these videos, the beauty of them...and something inside me cliques, and i have hope, and i know that me and ballet...we're made for eachother.

@horseprincess07 yeah! i saw this ballet on tv and the first act (the party scene and stuff) had really good choreography but the second act .....meh. but she is such a good dancer!!! it's scarry!
