think of a magnefing glass the hottest point is the center after prolong time a camera facing the sun over time it will have pixel burn out aka damage this very common the lense focuses the hot point damages pixels once the light level goes beyond what it can handle it will show only a black dot. and it can not be repaired it can only be replaced with a new camera
@MrNeilneil123 correct... a bit of a software error common in cheap cameras. Those centre pixels are totally saturated and the software erroneously resets the output to zero.
@freeseroyj It's a camera error! pure and simple! If this fictional planet/star was in front of the Sun (like it shows in so many youtube vids/pics) then explain why it's dead center of the Sun for many many months and years back... does it follow our orbit>? NO, that's impossible!
