wheels had air between them & the asphalt. My bike landed straight but I nearly broke my right side ribs on the tank & both my legs came down on the left side of the bike. My boot toes went through a cycle of hitting the freeway, feet bouncing back up & feeling like they took forever to hit ground & bounce again

I pushed hard on right bar while disengaging the clutch & drifted to the shoulder. Strangest thing, my bike came to a rolling stop & I found myself standing next to it

this was one of the most entertaining sportbike video's i've seen! They should have some kind of distance jumping event for the sport.

Oh, in case anyone cares, if you listen, you'll notice some guys are on the gas when they land (especially the guy that lands in a wheelie) and if you look, you'll notice the bike doesn't bottom out as much as some of the others... it's a dirt bike technique. It works because the throttle tightens up the chain.

when you land, make sure you've got the throttle open a fair bit, as the torque from the chain stiffens the rear suspension a bit more to make the landings nicer on you and the bike.
