In the 60s I had a similar astronaut type except it had 2 guns in the chest area and spun around (rotate-o-matic) after every 10 steps or so. Wish I had kept it. They now sell for big bucks on ebay.

Your right! In Japan, the Japanese made awesome battery operated toys in the late 1950s and thru out the 1960s! Those toys were awesome!!!

Great. I had a very similar one as a kid. Benn looking to buy somehting as good as this for my kid but it's all just cheap junk today.

Awesome! the old japanese toy robots were SO fantastically made!
I would like to see more of these robots on YouTube, there are some fantastic creations out there - Horikawa, Alps...
