  • does anyone have the lyric to this?

  • @KohakuRyuKazes I wish everyone had the same train of thought. I do understand why not many people accept are traditions, but we are peaceful and know what and who we are. Bless be everyone.

  • I SANG BOTH MY CHILDREN TO SLEEP WITH BEAUTIFUL LULLABY

  • i am atheist, but this music is beautiful and moving and natural :)

  • "Religion" is man made not by "God" everyone calls it different things but we all have faith in a higher power and no matter who he or she is we mostly all have similar beliefs.. I thought God said that you shouldn't judge because he is the only one that can?? " He who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones!" "If you have nothing nice to say, shut up?!"

  • wow *_*

  • Great song but wiccan and gypsy are not the same thing. Different tribes held different beliefs depending on what part of the world they were in. My great great grandmother happened to be both gypsy and pagan, but there are many gypsies who are VERY catholic, and I suspect many of them also subscribe to eastern religions.

  • Same here. I like this type of music myself. True believe in God and his Son, but it doesn't mean I can't listen to this genre of music. Enough said.

  • Blessed be. <3

  • this song makes me think of my son back in the states. I cant wait to go back to him. just 2 years kyle, then daddys coming home. I hope you remember when I come back.

  • @brandenchilders1 dont worry,

    he will.

  • love this song and the video goes well with it wiccan music is one of my favorite kinds. the 2 girls could easily be my and a friend despite the age. good job and blessed be

  • this is beautiful bless you for uploading this thank you

  • thanks for sharing this song with us i have a 3yo and i have been looking for a good wiccan/pagan song to sing to her sence she was born and now i have found this thanks and blessed be

  • thank you for singing

  • As to a Wiccan I worship a Lady and a Lord and live by the law Harm ye None. No evil there

  • Wicca is not devilcraft. So there. ALSO not all Wiccan's do black magic. Justsome pointers for tha dumbasses

  • Although wicca is a somewhat new religion, a lot of the christian traditions are based on pagan ones.

  • @nancejo Wicca is more then just being good and loving eachother. It is having perfect love and perfect trust, lending your power to those in need, and harming none. Christianity is loosely based from Wicca anyway. Wicca was around in the stone age, back when God and Jesus were nothing.

  • @dezismithpresents actually that's a common misconception. There's no proof Wicca as we know it existed before the 1940's and the movement it was likely spawned from started at the earliest in the late 1800's (Golden Dawn, etc). This is from Triumph of the Moon, by Ronald Hutton, a British historian and expert on pre-Christian pagan religion and British folk customs (and was brought up Pagan). Sorry, I get a little annoyed when Pagans act superior based on incorrect facts.

  • Blessed be

  • This is ridiculous. I demand a guitar solo.

  • @triplegoddess88 do u happen 2 know the lyrics to this song cuz in some parts its a lil difficult 2 make out wat the woman is saying

  • Thank you Brothers and Sisters of the Lady and her Green Lord for truly appriciating the beauty of this lullaby. Blessed Be. )O(

  • Blessed Be and thank you for this lovely lullaby. )O(

  • I listen to this every might before I go to sleep because it calms my spirit and I am able to sleep at peace with this goin' through my head makes me feel like I have heard this before. I am proud to be Wicca.

  • this my first time hearing this but in my heart i'v heard it before.

  • )0(

  • You have a beautiful voice

This compliment is from a Heathen

  • Blessed be,

  • this is beautiful... proud to be a wiccan :j

  • So many negative comments, and all of it is for the constant misunderstanding and even hatred of other religions. I have nothing against anyone's religion, my friends range from wiccan to athiests and personally I am a loose Christian. My main understanding of Christianity is to follow the Lord God and if able to show the path to him. But must we force our beliefs on another simply because they follow another religion and truly love it? I don't think so. Anyway I loved the song and find it sweet

  • I am a atheist and I listen to Christian bands.

Religious stereotyes aren't true, because in the end we are all human.

We all have dreams, and hopes, and lives.

Because this a beautiful song no matter what religion you are.

  • Can I just say... of all the religions out there, Wiccans are probably the least violent. I don't care what you say about Christians. I mean, if Christians are so good, explain the Witch Hunts and Crusades. Other than that, this song is gorgeous. I love it.

  • @FierceWolf1Dragon Not entirely true, I whip a great curse when great harm is caused. The Witch's Bible tells us that sometimes we are the instrument of karma. Not without cost, but it's true. Blessed Be.

  • im christian and i didnt hear anything wrong with or see anything in the video wrong with it so why is this song so controversial? maybe i missed something in the lyrics or the beat but it honestly sounded perfectly fine to me...if people are saying this song is evil maybe they should listen to death metal and then rethink which songs are evil...i mean really?

  • This is my first time listening to this song, its like the song has magic of its own, I starting singing this...and like I said this is my first time listening to it

  • Comment removed

  • listening to this song... it gives me peace and it makes me cry at the same time

  • people are free to choose whatever religion they want, and id gladly choose them all

  • very pretty song. who cared if its a wiccan lullaby, my newly apointed best friend is a wiccan, and it doesnt bother me. im christian and happy to stay that way, but i have athiest friends too. this song isnt evil its really quite a beautiful song, and after hearing it i hope to be able to learn it and sing it to my children whn i have them

  • In the court of the crimson king...

  • This is such a beautiful lullaby and I'm so glad I stumbled on it :) The vid goes great with it. Thanks for posting

  • now i'm christian and so are my parents, but they say that i should not listen to this music because it's 'the work of the devil' . but how can music be even slightly evil, if it's not killing people by sound waves or something. don't get me wrong, i'm not thinking of converting or anything, but your religion seems pretty harmless to me. i mean, the rule of 3 seems like a pretty good rule, and as far as i know, nobody is condoning any form of violence to other religions, so where's the problem?

  • The song is wonderful and really fits with the video!.

  • In any generation it's hard to find respect and open-mindedness.

If any of you who practice paganism, would you do me a favor and message me? For I'm quite interested in paganism. I always have been, and I would potentially like to practice it.

  • Blessed Be to haters. We all have our version of Heaven. It isn't a lot of work to be kind. Seems like more work to be purposely mean and nasty. I don't see either party getting anything out of being mean to someone. I'm proud to be Wiccan.

  • this song is beautiful

  • I'd just like to say, even as a Christian, I LOVE Wiccan and Pagan music and admire the practitioners. I worship the Father and hold Him as my only deity, they worship the Lady and I don't know much else about their beliefs, but I do know that they aren't devil worshippers. Honestly, I wish people would just lay off. No matter if you worship the Father or the Lady, we are supposed to love each other and that's all there is too it.

  • @KohakuRyuKazes Blessed be to you, for you are truly an open minded a good person. It's wonderful to know there are others out there that believe we can coexist peacefully.

  • @KohakuRyuKazes - While I admire your tolerance or other religions, being good and loving each other is not enough. It takes faith in Christ's sacrifice. The scripture says our righteousness are as filty rags. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation. It is by faith through grace.

  • @KohakuRyuKazes Amen to that! I love everyone for who they are. If Jesus can do it, so can I

  • @KohakuRyuKazes Blessed be. 'Tis not the Wiccans and the Christians that be enemies, rather confusion and ignorance.

So, I thank you, for being more wise than any Christian I know. <3

  • @KohakuRyuKazes im glad that someone agrees with me and that everyone accepts everyone else without judgement. we each do what makes us happy

  • @KohakuRyuKazes You my friend, are a good-minded person. Blessed be.

  • @KohakuRyuKazes

I thank you so much for being an open, and kind person. I am new to the pagan lifestyle, and I have much to learn...but I wish my fellow friends and family were as accepting of it as you are.

  • @KohakuRyuKazes I agree with you I'm not Christian, but I think that both beliefs can coexist in this world.

  • @KohakuRyuKazes: You've brought out every single peaceful person in these comments, you know...;p Blessings upon you! :)

  • @KohakuRyuKazes Tell your friends haha!!'

Actually we Worship both the lord and the Lady, I appreciate your respectful commentary Blessed Be

  • @KohakuRyuKazes Blessings and Love to you and yours. I wish you all the best and thank you for your kindness. I wish others could be as open minded as you--we are not devil worshipers, we simply have a different name for the Divine. We all believe in a deity, ours just happens to be incarnated as a female.

Again, I wish you every joy in life. :)

    <3

  • @KohakuRyuKazes Blessed Be to you, I sincerly wish that people would stop believing that we are "Devil" worshippers. I haven't been part of Wicca long, but I do know that our Lady respects you and so does your Father/Lord. Thank you.

  • @KohakuRyuKazes ty <3 for thinking this

  • @KohakuRyuKazes thank you and blessed be

  • this stuff is scary! sorry...

  • Everything you do is will come back to you times three..Meaning if you hurt someone the of law of karma effect will come and something three times worse will come to you,. same goes for if you do something good, The more good and heartfelt the act of kindness the more you'll be rewarded times three..It's a natural balance that keeps things fair. An' Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will.

  • am sorry but could someone please explain to me what the rule of three is because this is the first time i heard of it

  • its lovely i just started out as a wiccan and glad i did

  • @ChibiFiFi101 Yup

  • its been much too long since ive heard this beautifl lullaby. i need to find this song and be able to play it when i need. blessed be, my brothers and sisters.

  • this is such a pretty lullaby ^^ Ill have to find this from somewhere. Blessed be <3

  • I think it is a nice song. :)

  • i am a wiccan i just stared but i dont kno were to start can some 1 help me

  • @bowshock66 start by calling the gurdian angles and look up the rest on the internet

    BLESSED BE )o(

  • This song is beautiful.

    PS Live and let live.

  • @brunettebaby32

    i no isnt it

    blessed be

  • i might sound some lost noob but, i'm so scared...of becoming wiccan. I've been raised as a christian and i'm scared if I tell my family they'll hate me, i've talked to my mom she says its up to me, but my dads side of the family is extremly religious, what do i do?

  • @xXLollipoproxXx

Your mum is right. Do what you want to do. It's your choice in life and nobody elses.

  • @xXLollipoproxXx you have free will. yes SOME christians misunderstand stuff like this due to lies created long ago. you are their child. if they are parents that truelly love you they won't hate you. they cannot force you away from your religion without them faceing consequences also. i do not k if you are grown or an adult but you are contiusly growing no matter what age and they need to respect that. they need and so do need to recgnize you a a indvidual. sorry i don't have better advice.

  • @spazattack9884 thank you for the advice, now that i've read this, I understand more, i believe i've found my path

  • @xXLollipoproxXx Don't be afraid. I was the same way. Most of my family were strict Mormons, but when I finally told my dad about my faith and explained the rule of three, he was more than accepting and even starting doing research on it. Some families aren't as forgiving, but if they really do love you, they'll not only listen but try and understand. Just make sure that you re very calm and that you can sit down with your parents one at a time. Offer to answer any questions they have.

  • me too

  • The song is amazing, and the video is truely wonderful. I want a sister who I can do that with...

  • Goddess this song makes me cry everytime. I love it so much though...

  • You should really give this singer her due.

This song is from the Encantress CD. You can buy it on the pagan presence website - look for gypsy there.

There are also several other songs on the CD that you may like, if you like this song.

  • <3 not only beautiful but, very, very touching.

  • i love this song.

  • This is not Bette Midler singing she never sang this song in her life.

  • what is the video about?

  • blessed be everyone

  • Everyone bitching, go smoke a fucking blunt. (:

Then maybe you'll see this page is a place where Christians and Wiccans and Jews and Muslims and Buddhists and every one else that wants to join are welcome to come and discuss the beatuiful song at hand. Stop arguing. We don't want to hear your views on anything except this song. Smoke a blunt and just enjoy it. Let the weed calm you down and open your heart to the music.

  • @kayleeShoe I didn't even get high to enjoy the song :)

  • @kayleeShoe While I agree with the sentiment, I think I'll pass on the weed, thanks. But seriously, music is music. If you don't like it, quit hating and leave. No one made you listen to it.

  • @kayleeShoe FUCKIN A ~ RIGHT!!! THANK YOU. TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUTTA MY MOUTH. . . . . PROBLEM IS "PEOPLE FEAR WHAT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND"....... IGNORANCE IS BLISS, I GUESS. BASK AWAY.

  • @kayleeShoe - Thanks for the hateful cursing, your views and the suggestion that you can't be spiritual unless you are high.

  • Um... I just love the song. Am I allowed to comment if I'm not bringing up a stupid fight between Wiccans and Christians? Wicca is a joyful and peaceful religion. I should hope people who call themselves Wiccan at least make an attempt to be too.

  • Wow you guys!

Chill out, this is a good tune. Listen to it, and shut up :)

  • To all guys arguing: My mother's ancestors are born Wiccan and died a Wiccan. And my father was a former Catholic Priest. I practiced Wicca when I was a little girl under my youngest Aunt, while my Grandma raised me believing in Christ--It made me see things clearly. One of my ancestors sold her soul to the devil in exchange for knowledge and power--that's the family history, but God made a way to use it for good. My ancestors became the village's herbal healers (not faith healers, to be clear).

  • I've seen several arguments about religion on this video..why can't we all get along? We're never going to all completely agree on stuff like this. No one has proof that their religion is the only right one. All you Christians on here, we respect your religion and don't try to convert you, so could you PLEASE do the same for us? As many other videos have comments saying, Don't like it, Don't watch it.

  • @ImaMonsterO3O other than the cliche "why can't we all get along?" appeal, yours' is the only argument that makes any sense. bravo, you've been blessed with the gift of reason.

  • Can't we all just get along . We all have our beliefs and differences . The least we can do is tolerate what we all believe and practice . At the end of the day , religion is to draw us together in song and praise for something ! It doesn't matter what it is , as long as we love each other . I challenge you all to go and hug someone of a different religion . Diversity surrounds us whether we like it or not .

  • @DreamyValentyne you make me sick.

  • @MrIsraelcenaiko And you're narrowminded . The sad thing is you'll live with that curse all your life . For a "Wiccan" you most certainly do follow the rules of loving and not judging . I pity you .

  • @DreamyValentyne odd..

    Definition of: judging

    Verb:

1.Form an opinion or conclusion about.

here, i'll break it down for you.

    1. you formed an OPINION about me and came to the CONCLUSION that i am narrowminded.

    2. to form an opinion of and come to a conclusion about something/someone is, in fact, judgement.

    3. i suggest you look up the definition of hypocrisy.

i may be narrowminded (we all are) but you're naive. someday you'll discover the horror of human nature. and for that i pity you.

  • I am so proud to be a wiccan. :P

  • @lagatalocaaceitunera Me Too ^.^

  • @lagatalocaaceitunera blessed be

  • @Werallwetontheinside 1. yes, it's the spanish term for "time that is waisted" < that was sarcasm, i'll tell you more about that later.

    2. not only do you have no concrete knowledge of past events, you also have no fucking clue.

    3. only a paranoid psychopath would believe that paranoid psychopaths are destroying all good things.

    4. it's spelled "grammar", how did you manage to save room on that mistake?

    5. how old am i? 186,936 hours.

    6. dumbass.

  • @Werallwetontheinside btw has it occurred to you that you are, in fact, a raving lunatic?

  • @Werallwetontheinside 1. that's nice, i don't give a shit.

    2. women weren't allowed to vote and poor women were forced into prostitution to feed themselves. boom.

    3. actually, you typed "It just saddens me how christians killed inocent girls 4 approximately 1500 years for being smart.", but i don't really see why you brought that up.

    4. you're spelling and grammar were so terrible i wasn't to sure what you were trying to say on that fourth point.

    5. o_O wtf

    6. you're still a dumbass.

  • @ilililhy1 Excuse me. I don't mean to be rude, but would you please stop posting things like this on videos. I accept that we do not hold the same belief system as you, but we respect any and all videos that are posted up by Christians and any other religion of the world. Do you understand the strict standards that us pagans are bound to every day? Look up the wiccan rede and realize that it doesn't only apply to our actions, but to our thoughts and the way we conduct ourselves.

  • love this song!!

  • @Werallwetontheinside looks like you need to read up on your history some more :/ Just saying.

  • it seems people have actually only been stupid since roman intervention and not before so get your facts right fuck face

  • @Werallwetontheinside 1. where the fuck did you hear that the roman empire "deeply respected women in every way"? roman legions raped and pillaged just like every other military force before and after them.

    2. people did stupid things for stupid reasons long before Jesus came along.

    3. witch hunts lasted for around 300 years, not 1500.

    4. you're a fucking dumbass.

    5. i'm drunk, but my points are still solid.

    6. that's what she said.

  • @MrIsraelcenaiko I have no idea what this argument is about, but I am siding with you because this has to be the best statement since, well, EVER

  • @MrIsraelcenaiko I'm thinking they meant that they were Matriarchal before Constantine legalized Christianity. Which technically means they respected their women and female goddesses like Hera, Athena, Hestia and so on. The Greeks built several temples for goddesses and the Romans still used them until well xD Constantine.

  • @MrIsraelcenaiko Good man. You can speak the truth even when you're drunk, I respect you for that. >>;

  • What exactly is this song called?

  • @schatzisgirl1

    it's called wiccan lullaby

  • my daughter wishes she her mother would have song this when she was a child..it is truthfully beautiful

  • This song is just so very beautiful and every time I hear it I can't hep but feel so peaceful.

  • anyway, I'll just appreciate this. it sounds very good.

    peace

  • I'm a pagan myself, but I will point out that the bible references other spiritual paths in a negative manner quite frequently. The most popular being Exodus 22:18 "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live". you can also find references to stoning people who would be spiritualists and attempt to divine omens etc, in the books of Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and other mentions in Samuel and Jeremiah, as well as others.

Personally I believe the church "edited" quite a bit. But that's me

    -Romana

  • I am an atheist but have to say this song and the lyrics transcends all religions or beliefs- beautiful absolutely beautiful.

  • This is a beautiful song. I saw that it was named Wiccan Lullaby so I just had to watch it. I'm a proud Wiccan/ Pagan witch.

  • I'm a Christian and I know a little bit about Wicca, but I still have a question for you guys. How does your religion address evil?Do you believe in evil at all?Are there evil deities or does evil come from humans? What happens to evil people, when they die?Can wicca magic be used for evil and what happens to evil witches/warlocks?

  • @SnitchSeeker I can't really speak for every Wiccan, but I think that most believe in the duality of nature. Nothing really causes evil. Most Wiccans believe in reincarnation or that the soul joins dead ancestors. Some believe that wrongdoing can trap the soul in a state of punishment, but I've never met anyone who believes that. As for evil magic, the use of curses, hexes, or anything like that is strictly against the Rede, which only asks that you harm none. Hope that helps!

  • @SnitchSeeker Good and evil as You might think of them, are subjective to the individual and based more on intent. We don't believe in a devil or a sentient being as the source of absolute evil, or in the existance of a hell. I myself do not subscribe to the corporeal and/or concept of good and evil, but rather I follow the Gods and the laws of the Universe, as each in turn has been revealed to me in its right time.

  • @Nytelynx Apologies, I meant to say corporeal and/or social concept of good and evil

  • @SnitchSeeker None of that even exists in the wicca religion.... and like every religion there are variations to worship and beliefs. In simple terms, the earth is our mother. It's a peaceful religion, respecting life of all kinds and hatred doesn't truly exist. Honestly, it's a lot more noble... any punishment should be your own, not from some greater diety.

  • @SnitchSeeker We have a very strict code of ethics here in the pagan/wiccan community. As for me (a wiccan) we have a lovely poem that describes all our rules including the rule of 3 (This means if you do something in an ill will, or it hurts someone that it will come back to you negatively 3 times. If you do something good, it will come back 3 times positively).

  • What a beautiful voice!! Love it!!!!!!!!!!

  • i'm not kidding when i say this:

it made me AWWWW out loud :3

  • :3 makes me so.....peacful.

  • all i know is people who take the time and energy out of their day to bash wicca must think there's something to it, if they have to defend themselves agaist it . . .

  • Oh by the way, I love this music because it is very good!

  • People please stop Feuding! Are you forgetting that The main rule In Wicca Is :Harm it none! Meaning peace and blessings. And isnt Christians rule Love thy neighbor? Im a Wiccan/ Pagan Witch can't we all just love one another for whom we are?

  • Why can't we just TOLERATE people with other beliefs?!

  • Comment removed

  • @Hamschterkind what about people who believe that other's beliefs should not be tolerated? can you tolerate their beliefs also since they clearly do not line up of with your beliefs?

  • @MrIsraelcenaiko Yes, and I do so.

  • keep in mind to the fustrated: #1 Youtube is a breeding ground for the slime who never practice what they preech (judge not, love thy neighbor bla bla bla) and #2 They only call you evil because you can actually fit into that little black dress while looking good at the same time!

  • Oh Dear, someone is trying to prove all that is said about christianity: narrow minded, unable to accept other opinions, and, above all, surpressing those who think different by setting their messages to 'spam'

Follow up would be to burn all pagans at the stake, like they did for 2000 years.

I pity you, one day you will see the light, and then you will know what was really going on with your church.

I forgive you for being ignorant.

  • i didn't know youtube was so full of knowledgeable theologians and philosophers.

  • Its funny, if you think about it. Christians see wiccans as probably evil and all that, or blasphemous, but if we all think about it, the idea of becoming Gods and Goddesses ourselves isn't that crazy. In most relegions, its pretty common to think that we are children of God. Now my father is a man, and he has a son. if that son grows up, what will that son become? A man.Like my father. So if we are the children of God, what can that make us?

  • evil only has a name because we give it one

  • I sing this to my godson, just as I will sing it to my future children.

Blessings and Love to you and yours.

    <3

  • Follow your heart. Trust in your intuition, the universe guides us all. Xo

  • @XxILIKESWaFfLEsxX

At first glance, I wasn't sure what you meant by this. But, the spirits told me.

Jesus was 33 years old when he was crucified.

But, the FACT is that I do not claim to be him or have more power than he does.

However, I am mostly native american, and, whether people want to acknowledge that there is spirit world or not, it does exist,. I have indeed spoken with your "Jesus" and apologized for not being AS strong has he is, but where he forgave his enemies, I will not! get it?
