I bought me an original blue DS when I was ten years old. Back then, it was the most expensive thing that I'd ever bought with my own money. After buying three games, I lost interest.

Now that I'm into my teens, I've become extremely interested in the newest DS out, the 3DS. I think it's high time for an upgrade--in blue again. Maybe this time, I'll play this DS for a little longer than the last one. With all the new awesome features, why not? :-)

@dglegend yes there are many stores still selling them but they will probably sell them in 2nd or 3rd hand so you'll be better of buying one of ebay amazon or any other places if you do by any chance want a n original 2nd/3rd hand game shops may have stock in the back. ps they are well worth the money they can last 4+ years hope this helps :)

I like the DS Original the only reason I bought an original instead of a ds lite is because

1. On DS lite GBA dont go in properly

the ds is a really cool system actually. think about it...i know it looks really ugly now, but it came out in 04. It was one of the first touch screen devices, which makes it ahead of the iphone. nintendo was the FIRST brand to make a portable device with a touch screen. this was really advanced for its time.

GBA games are also quite hard to find today so why bother paying?
