Just a hint of advice- Instead of throwing away the clay add water and make slip! Or let the slip harden a day or 2, depending on how wet it is, and it will be moldable clay again! I learned it through trial and error. O yeah, and curiosity. :D hope it helps- BTW I am a beginner, sort of. :)
