Well they surely would have kept "Final Fantasy" if the series had been already known in Europe, but according to Wikipedia, "Final Fantasy Adventure" was the first FF that was released in Europe.

Ah, perplexing naming convention of Seiken Densetsu in Europe. I never figured out why on earth these names change over regions. Legendary game nevertheless, such an emotional tale, supported by awesome incidental music.

@yoda1914 I am with you man! That is a perfect exemple of the days when Internet and Gamefaqs did not exist. When you were stuck, you had to rely on friends or magazines to give you the solution. At the time I rage-quit and sold the game, to end up buying it one more time a year later when somebody gave me a hint.

a chocobo, two palm trees in a desert, and myself at 10 years old having tears of joy when I understood. The first video game I ever played that to this day, still gives me tears of joy, sadness, pride and nostalgia. It echoes so many things that one can only begin naming these and never finish

One of the best games i've ever played. Beautiful in it's simplicity. Amazing in it's limitation.

Games nowadays don't have the heart or soul of a game like Mystic Quest.

I regularly complete this game 5 times a year... At least. It deserves that much!

yeah i love this game, i played it roughly at the same time zelda link's awakening was released, though the zelda game had better game control, the adventure and experience of Mystiq Quest was Way better
