Basically Amnesia is a Horror game, of which is described as a complete masterpiece of the genre, and i'm not one to disagree, basically you don't see monsters that often, and much of the game is dark with spooky ambience, oh, and you can't fight them. The game is paced so well that by the time you actually come across a monster, you're a paranoid, nervous wreck. :P

@Carlemone Its pretty scary. Lots of strange sounds and a shadow is looking for you in the mansion. Plus you have to try to light candles and stuff. The main character has gone insane. Being in the dark too long starts to eat away at your sanity. Very scary.
