Ynot is obvioulsy the toprock master... but lets be honest, Bob was quite funky too and he moved himself with swagger and flava too. Both of them were amazing dancers. Peace.

Normally Ynot is the chillest cat on the block, but you can tell Bob's spastic frenzy was starting to get irritating. He had techs, but not half the musicality of Ynot. If you played different music, Bob would have done the exact same thing. That's why he lost.

I know that..........Rocking is where "top rock" came from...........THIS is a "top rock'' battle, which is different from a "Uprock" battle.........Bboys sumtimes put "uprock" in their "tops".....but most of the time they only put ONE part of the dance into their "top rock".....Which is the "Jerk"..........Uprocking, and Toprocking are two different dances....

@boneless16 Top Rock didn't came from Uprocking... both bboying and brooklyn rock came from ROCKING, a dance done in many NY boroughs during late 60 and early 70s. Then, the blacks started to come down (Nigga Twins) and Bboying was born. Also when Rubberband moved to Brooklyn, Jerks and Burns started to be incorporated widely in Rocking , so the new disctinctive Brooklyn style was born too. Common history but different dances. Toprocking is a great mixture of classic jazz steps, latin...

Japanese fool, I know about uprocking. I been bboying off and on since like 1995. Uprock battles were always lame, people that did them and did not break got made fun of. When something becomes commercialized, it is no longer an art. These kids now and days try to break to gay ass songs that they play on mainstream radio. I hope you aren't one of these kids who dress like bboys but cant dance.

Whereas if someone gets a dope break you can hit a lot of beats on, and someone else gets a mellow part of the song (even though it's the same) - then it's not exactly fair.
