This just sucks because I'm listening to it in headphones. Really what this is is dance music, the kind of music that you have to feel with your body in order to experience, just like swing or house music.

If you listen to this in headphones and pan on about its artistic value, you're a fool. It's dance music.

I want to address two points as well:

I don't understand how that's an argument for musicality either because if I plug into as many amps as the bass player does, I'll sound just as loud as him. Loudness = musicality? That's even worse than the first one.

I can see how you might infer that, but let me clarify: what I meant was that if you don't acknowledge it as dance music, you are a fool. It's like admiring a sculpture thinking that it's a painting; both have merit, just in different ways.

Also, opinions should be inherently recognized without subjective terms, intrinsically, in the fact that people are saying them. I should not have to inhibit myself by saying "I think."

The only reason I left the comment addressing your points was because I was taken aback by the terms you were using to judge musicality. This may be musical, but not in the terms that you put it in... that's my argument.
