Saw it twice and I tink that the movie is a bit underrated. Reynolds was good, & funny, you feel sympathetic towards his character who feels like the black sheep in this intergalactic cool cops club. Mark Strong was outstanging as Sinestro and that scene in the credits was short but awesome. There should have been more space action thing, like that scene where Sinestro and other GL fly towards Paralax. The final battle between Hal and paralax was decent. (Blake was hot,) I say yes to the sequel.

Isn't it ironical how Ryan Reinold appears in the superheroes films of both DC Comics and Marvel Comics, i.e., the biggest comic industries as for today? ASide from his Green Lantern role, he portrays "weapon XI (11)" on the X-men Origins: Wolverine's film, and is set to portray Deadpool on this last film spin-off... I guess it's just the lack of actors casted... After all, it's the same with Chris Evans, who plays both the Human Torch and captain America... Both Marvel Universe charachters!

This happens to be ironical, as Hal Jordan is a member of the Justice League, which he founded. The using of Stewart in said animated series could be justified by the lack of affrican-american superheroes and thus the strategical move of using him as an attractive element on the show for the affrican-american community, as well as to avoid criticism on discrimination. I sincerely Hope this will throw a light on anybody who has this doubt.

Its 2 mins of footage edited to market to a wide audience.
