There are less traffic accidents in Pakistan than western countries, because pakistanis do not drink alcohol. I have been to several european countries and inspite of very well organized roads, traffic signals, clearly stated information signs, the rate of accidents is very high, sometimes killing hundreds in a day (especially in national holidays). I have seen so many accidents with my own eyes during my stay.

Great trip. We found Pakistanis (& Iranians, & everyone else for that matter) to be very friendly, welcoming & hospitable. 99% of the people you meet anywhere in the world just want a peaceful life. The further off the beaten tourist route you travel the more open & welcoming poeple are.

We did find that people always said to beware in the next country - danger ahead, etc which all proved groundless, just a fear of the unknown.
