Well satan bless Norway, becouse that's not the case here. i started using one when i was 16 becouse i was growing my hair, and the bandana helped alot in the mid length period. I stoped using it alot after my heir got long tnogh to jhave it behind my ears and in a ponytale. When i was 20, i cut my hair short again, now about a year later, i' saving hair again, so now it's back on. I use a black with white dots, i tie it tigth with the flap in the knot, between the first and second knot :)
