My border collie is has just hit her first birthday and she seems a little small compared to some full grown i've seen in other videos, but they are absolutely amazing dogs. Clever beyond belief. Definitely going to be the only breed I want as my dogs. This vid re minds me of when I first got my puppy she was really small.
They are definitely clever, loyal, intelligent and fun, but they are also high strung/always on the move, don't live in city environments well, constantly try to find something to do when left alone (digging, destroying & etc), chase everything that moves & can be very protective/possessive. You really need to do research before adopting one to see if your lifestyle will work with this breed. Definitely not a dog that will sit around with you, if you want a dog like that get a lab or golden.
Mine certainly doesn't destroy anything or chase anything that moves. He does like to try to herd cattle / sheep when I take him to the countryside (we live in a city) but he will stop as soon as I tell him to. If you take the time to train and exercise them (mentally as well as physically), BCs make wonderful pets and will happily sit with you when the "work" is done.

Border Collies are pure bred dog but the truth is all dogs are mix of something they get the name pure bred because they come in great numbers and usaully have the same characteristics and mutts are always crossed between pure bred maybe some aren't though? CUTE PUPPIES
i just got a border collie puppy today, but he isnt to furry and his ears are floppyer so i know that he isnt pure bred, but will he still get furry, he looks like the puppys in the back at the start of the video.

Not all BCs are as you describe!
