Pupil is a good band.No question about it.But it would definitely have a hard time overcoming the legacy left by The Eraserheads.Normally,a member does not becomes more popular than the band that he leaves especially if it becomes a extremely popular.

Just consider John Lennon,Paul McCartney,George Harrison and even Ringo Starr.He never became more popular than the Beatles as themselves.

I think the same will be the case for Ely Buendia.He will never be more popular than The Eraserheads.

i use to go to MCHS fairs back in my high school days circa 94-97...almost all the great bands have played in MC during their fairs...plus all the pretty Miriamites hehehe...nakakamiss sobra!!!

fyi: original ni Ely yan, plus BUY THEIR ALBUM. they have really good songs there, it's just that most people won't listen to music that aren't already "SIKAT" cause most people are just going with the flow and acting like posers. :) be original and listen to songs that'd sound good to you and not the masses.
