silmarillion is not a complited story by tolkien its more like a history-saga teller complition so the stories talled there are rarely deep and ready for a screenplay or stuff like LOTR.. but this amasing musicians (and screenplay writers up to me)have made an extraordinary story-based album with a definite scenario in their minds..

Yeah, I have to agree here. Maybe the confusion here is stemming from the fact that after the fall of Thingol and Doriath, the High King of the Noldor was held to be High King of the Elves in Beleriand. Before that, the title was sorta between Thingol and the High King of the Noldor.
