I know what you mean, the E55 is sure enough to keep up, however I drive E60 M5's and E55's all the time and think the M5 has a slight edge, but none the less both are remarkable by all means.
Yeah i agree the M6 vs a stock E55 has a for sure advantage 90% of the time (except out of the hole) and the M5 and E55 are pretty dead up, with the E55 having lead over the M5 to 100-120 and then M5 takes over, but a modded E55 can take a stock M5 anyday if its tuned correctly with proper cooling mods to mantain its power.
They have long airport track and start the race from 50km/h+...but I think they don't have good relations/communications with each the owners/drivers and when they claiming "stock" car may not a stock one.
I would have to dissagree since ive owned a E60 M5 and E55 and now still have my E55. The M5board only puts up there best beating on a E55 everytime they dont show the close races and there is so many variables on a supercharged car with heat hot lapping even the intercooler pump on these cars. Think as you will but if you have a stock M6 or M5 i will race you anytime. My 03 E55 ran 12.1@116 STOCK and now has a pulley and dynotune and cooling mods(add no power) and runs 11.4@121.
Mercedes E55 can't beat a M6. But it can beat a M5.

I picked up my M6 about a month ago which is stock and I just sold my E55 2 weeks ago to buy the m6, the E55 had a chip. So please don't talk about someone being a moron because I've owned both of these cars. I drive them daily and have raced BOTH against each other before I sold the E. Also my friend with a s63 doesnt even stand a chance

I would also agree a modded M6 the way this one is should win but there is always variables in racing that have to be factored in sometimes the right car doesnt win everytime. Just sick of people thinking the E55 cant keep up expecially modded.

I know what you mean, the E55 is sure enough to keep up, however I drive E60 M5's and E55's all the time and think the M5 has a slight edge, but none the less both are remarkable by all means.

Yeah i agree the M6 vs a stock E55 has a for sure advantage 90% of the time (except out of the hole) and the M5 and E55 are pretty dead up, with the E55 having lead over the M5 to 100-120 and then M5 takes over, but a modded E55 can take a stock M5 anyday if its tuned correctly with proper cooling mods to mantain its power.

I would have to dissagree since ive owned a E60 M5 and E55 and now still have my E55. The M5board only puts up there best beating on a E55 everytime they dont show the close races and there is so many variables on a supercharged car with heat hot lapping even the intercooler pump on these cars. Think as you will but if you have a stock M6 or M5 i will race you anytime. My 03 E55 ran 12.1@116 STOCK and now has a pulley and dynotune and cooling mods(add no power) and runs 11.4@121.
