They probably put "9000" in the TV version to say "hey, we know this meme exists."

Okay, am I missing something? I saw the Kai version of this scene before and they had changed it to the original 8000. I'm not complaining, because frankly I couldn't give less of a fuck about what is accurate to the original, compared to what is accurate to everyone's memory, who had seen the English versions of this, but what happened? Did they change it again, or is this some kind of a fan edit, or what? I am so confused. For the record, I still like Drummond more.
