Celine Dion is as real as it is ever going to get !! These are her songs, and if she chooses to modify them for the "LIVE" audience, she has the ability and the right to do so. There is no lip-synching...NONE !! As for her not seemingly sounding like the cd you bought...well studios have many tricks to make an artist sound as perfect as possible. "LIVE", those tricks aren't available. So, listen to her, be in awe of her, whereas she is 1000% real. Her tunes, her way, end of story !!!!!!!

That having been said, most of her Vegas work is lip synced. Do you honestly think that she could hit her signature notes every night without destroying her voice? Of course she's lip syncing.
