im just putting up what i did... i put a 80mm fan from radio shack(less than 10$) and its blue led and it was the easiest to put in even though i had to solder also but did you solder both cords to the original 4 pin recevier for the stock xbox 360 slim fan? because i solderd one wire to the 4 pin and 1 to the metal protector for the power brick.... it hard to explain but i found it out on accedent and it puts more power to the fan instead of what you did... just saying no hate and goos job!!!!!

i bought the same fan and did the same thing... but my xbox got the over heating messages then powers down can it be cause i just unlugged the old fan. and the new one like your i wired to a seperate power sorce not to the xbox its self.

@zRenzoh lol i used to think to think that too, but my friend left his xbox on the carpet for like a year and never has gotten RRoD yet and its fine as long as its laying down because on the old xbox version, the main vent is on the bottom and there is somewhat air coming through the lil holes on the sides, but not enough to do anything.

i did the same thing but i left the pastic around the fan off and put it back so u can se the led through the side and the usb ports

Funny thing is is that ur supposed to use a 92mm fan and cut the connectors off and solder the old one to the new fan but you just HAD to make it practically permanent

@TucsonKing1 A Hacked Xbox, they can do tenth prestige lobby's. Depending on what time your xbox was made it will be different to hack...aka Xenon, Ghost etc. They also come with an XeX Menu and usually a NES Emulator which lets you play hundred of original NES games on your xbox 360.
