@AdrianR74 freestyle is doing tricks, flip tricks, like what is in our warehouse video. Freeriding is sliding, as seen in our Freeride video.

Hey Original, I saw that your new Apex 34 came out a few days ago and I was wondering if it would be half decent for bombing. I Love doing freestyle and carving and sliding as well but I also enjoy bombing. My family doesn't have a lot of my so I was hoping the 34 would work but if not I am definitely up to get the 37. @Mr99timone The Apex 34 is very close to our worst board for bombing, and that is saying something ; )

That being said the Freestyle / carving aspects are certainly very high for that deck.

If you want bombing and are prepared to trade some of the freestyle properties the Freeride 38 RockerConcave just came out last Friday and would be a good match, possibly better than the Apex if you have bombing as part of your focus.

@YourFifaGoals Absolutely... but we would recommend the new Original Freeride 41 or Freeride 38 slightly more : )

I like Stim's better for sliding as far as the Otangs are concerned. That said I do have an Original Freeride 41 WConcave with Purp Durians that is a blast. Might be worth a look.

@TheDarkwolf148 it all depends on the type of riding you plan on doing. The Apex can handle some freeriding, but it's more of a freestyle board. The Freeride can handle some freestyle, but is made for freeriding.

@mustykoala Seems like the Apex 37 will be a great board for what you want to do: flatland, bowls and some hills (not ridiculously high speed bombing or racing.) The Apex 37 has a pretty big nose and tail for tricks and to play around with, both on hills and on flat grounds. Also, the pretty stiff flex on the Apex 37 is great for semi high speed carving and sliding. (Flex = more lively cruising/carving. Stiffness = more stability at higher speeds)

@rotciv8998 Take a look at the Pintail 37- its a good size for your height and weight. You can also look at the Torpedo and Malakai for flatland carving and cruising.

They are all beginner boards that should be good for you. If your looking for something higher end the Apex 34 is a good bet and better for freeriding and tricks.

@lilacnoob I'd check out the Pintails- specifically the 40 or 43. The main difference is the 43 will be stiffer at 9plys. Either one would be a good cruising/carving option.

@soleynoha sorry to say but I believe they discontinued the terrapin... The hybrid could be good especially if you put your foot on the tail like they describe in the video... If you tell original your height and weight they might be able to better determine which board is best for you. Hope this helps
