  • Your set up is partially the issue. First of all, you "squat" too much. Push your rear out more and get more tilt with your spine. You'll lose that "hump" near your shoulders. Your biggest flaw is that you straighten your spine through impact--you're practically standing straight up! You need to keep your spine in its tilt. But first you need to put it there--allowing more room for your arms to swing through. Your takeaway is good. Your rotation fails b/c you jam up through impact.

  • you have a good looking swing, good setup and good plane, on your down swing you do the same thing ive had trouble with and you "hump the air"

    Your position at impact should be identical as how you are at address, except for your hips will be turning through with you left leg should be straightened (which yours is close) and your right foot beginning to lift, try to keep the angle with your back to make a more controlled athletic swing, great looking basics of the swing though!

  • Try to keep your head from tucking in like a turtle at impact. You look too tense. Just swing the club relaxed like you just took a big rip off a 4 foot bong.

  • Nice transition, stayed well behind the shot, good balance, great swing, forget getting to technical, your swing has good bones !!

  • Everyting is pretty much there apart from you look like your backing out at impact.(It should be asimilar position as it was at address.) But overall very good. Keep it up and good luck.

  • ive been workin on the same thing..

    What you could do is a drill where you pull your right foot way back and fell like your foot goes off the ground after youve hit.

    Do it for about a week and youll start to exaggerate and go back back to your normal stance

    But i wouldnt really think about it with such a good result. Thats waht golf is all about the result not the swing.

  • another thing i am seeing is at the beginning of your takeaway you are coming too much inside of the ball with your hands and the clubhead. that will produce a slice more often than not.

  • there is only one thing you need to focus on for consistency. Watch your hips and how untstable they are througohut your swing. Look at seconds 11 to 12 and you will see your hips move towards the ball while your head moves away from it. Bad. Try stabilizing your hips with a wider stance. Focus on this for every swing and you will see results in two weeks.

  • Looks good. Only 2 minor things that I see. 1) you could get a little more rotation with you shoulders if your chin was lifted higher. 2) your arms look a little tense and maybe should hang a little more naturally. However, the contact your making is good. I would like to know your consitency as it relates to ball flight and distance. But it looks good and if it is repeatable then great. Bill

  • great swing. you probobly get alot of power. but after looking at your swing i think you could be all over the place. try to keep that right foot quiet until after impact, that will give you more control. great swing.

  • What equipment and/or software did you use to video your swing in slow motion?

  • Don't think I'd worry about swing faults if I got the results you seemed to get on that shot. Looked long and straight to me.

  • Very nice swing... i think the biggest thinng you could fix is your posture as many have said here, but i would focus more on your impact posture, your "rear end" coomes in the second you start your downswing and your "rear" is under your head at impact which creates a very steap and hard to repeat angle. So in short... keep your ass out to maintain your spine angle :)

  • where to start.. your back is hunched, just like every1 else in the world, your pull back is perfect, but u ruin it at the top coz u use ur arms, (thats where u lose ur distance) then on the way down, DO U WANNA SWING ANY HARDER!! cool it man, im 14 and i drive better and softer than you. then on ur follow though, straighten it out a bit and itll be way more consistant

    you hunch ur back, u need to stick ur arse out a bit more. ur swinging to up and downy if u get what i mean, you swing with ur arms, you hit it far too hard. Brawl over Brains, u could hit so much futher

  • Forget everything you've read here, and just worry about maintaining the posture you had at address. If you have that posture at impact, you'll have no problem with your impact position.

  • Hey. Great Swing. Great Contact!! Try spreading your feet a little more so you can get a more athletic appoach and rotation. This might help you gain a few extra yards...

  • point your chin at your right foot.

    you swing the clubhead for the first 2 feet with hands and arms... start swing with a tun of hips

    At the start of your swing hands move out away from body and forearms rotate club face open.

  • try not to stand up when you contact the ball that should help alot

  • pause the video at 11secs..impact is not terrible you are coming from the inside (not over the top) work on MAINTAING SPPINE ANGLE throughout the swing..you stand up at impact..watch tiger/adam scott at impact

  • dont listen to him. your swing is perfect except that you straighten up a bit at impact, other than that I can't find any flaws in your swing.

  • Hi. Great ball flight there! Do you hit the occasional quick hook? Try to get a better body rotation through impact this will stablise the club for you, at the moment it seems to rock and block causing the left shoulder to get high and the club to wrap over a bit too fast. Nice swing nonetheless

  • try not to take the club so far to the inside. try making a more straight takaway
