  • B-E-A-utiful!!! :)

  • I had a white 66 445 hp at rear wheels,750 dual pumper holley isky 3/4 race cam, hooker headers.best race was a69 charger 440 with a 2 six pack, guy was a smart ass,Till I beat him on San Thomas Expwy in Campbell,Ca one Saturday night.Never saw him again.Loved it when the cam was working and it would churp the ties idling thur a parking lot,Lots of looks when it did that.

  • I have a 66 Convertible ... Love GTO'S this is my 3rd but it has a Power Glide ... Yours is great !!!

  • @Larrysgto ha, i was one of the lucky ones, my 66 has a 67s th400 in it, plus it was a manual origonally, so it has great rear gearing.

  • they're gonna ruin the damn car...

  • @bloodopal12 thats what muscle cars are for.

  • @Girsbestfriend not for a person to drive recklessly and wreck it.

  • @bloodopal12 seriously, i own a 66 and basically drove it without any real brakes, it wasnt anywhere near wreckless though, i mean i just didnt have the booster vacuumed. i had the pedal nailed and it wouldnt stop... quickly. if it was a typical kid my age driving, the goat would of smacked something, even worse, someone.

  • Man...this muscle cars are sick looking!!!!

  • crapy its auto matic

  • you dont gotta worry about the auto in that thing... its gots, whats called a his and hers shifter, you may drive auto, or pull the shifter right when in drive to have a whole new braket, so you may manually shift through gears, theres a clutch as well....

  • Gorilla, not unless he switched trannies, it's got a 2-speed powerglide. Turbohydro 3-speed, with or w/out the his n hers, wasn't available on a GTO until '67. No clutch either.

  • my dads 66 had a 4 speed manual definetly no his and hers

  • Pontiac didnt make the powerglide.. people refer to it as that but it is actually the turbine 300

  • You are absolutely correct, I knew that but always referred to it as a powerglide. They really are not the same, they don't share a part between the two. But the fact remains that you couldn't get a 3-speed auto (turbohydromatic 400) in a Goat until '67. My '67 was a 4-speed and unless I was really paying attention, the autos would almost always get me in a drag race. Had a fairly tall rear though....in my defense, lol.

  • yeah your right, i never looked into that detail until i baught my 66 gto back in july.

  • yeah i just found that out with my dads

  • Gas Tires and Oil lol

  • i remember 2 years ago I took a ride down the runway at my local airport in a car that looked just like that.

  • Nice looking car, I used to have a red 66 GTO hardtop just like it. Wish I hadn't sold it.

  • @jbr69gto ...my GTO WAS STOLEN RIGHT FROM THE FRONT OF MY HOUSE BROUGHT BRAND NEW , 4 SPEED TRI POWER WHAT A CAR .
