Auntie, I have a former co-worker who lost her kids, got them back, and has lost them again. Why? Bad choices that she knew were wrong, but thought she could just go around them. You would think there was some type of remorse, but she acts as if it's all good. She missed a visitation recently and was on FB like "O well". I could not believe it!
I wonder how I would of turned out if my sister didn't show up. I was almost placed in foster care but my sister saved us. My mom had to go to rehab and til this day still relapsing. I agree Ms. Tina. Funny I was also raised by my father. Its out there. Video made me cry. It doesn't register in my mom's head what she did wrong. I don't understand either...Now what show is this? Maybe I need to watch but I have school so I might miss it. Maybe find it online.
Im guessing it would easy for a woman who didn't really want the responsibility of being a mother to loose her children/give them up there are plenty woman that for various reasons hav kids jus to hav them I am a single mother that would fight to the death for my daughter she is my heart,my family,my strength we could never seperate,luv u tina

Lets face fact...some women or men for that matter....don't have children out of love or love for children....we lay down, have sex, and get pregnant. And for some...over and over and over again! For some of my friends that don't have children or dont want children I highly recommend that don't have them....it ain't for everybody and you dont HAVE to have children. It's a myth that all women who have children automatically have motherly instinct and unbreakable bonds.
How about the families who get divorced and one parent get the kids and never let the other family see em or talk to them. I know this is off the subject but our family is going thru it right now. We are hurting real bad. Children need both parents.

There's not enough room in this box to explain what I know and went through in the child welfare system. Some women never bond with their child and they can easily let them go. Take the Casey Anthony case for instance...its apparent that this woman never had a bond with her daughter because she was not worried about her child being missing. I wish I could get a chance to share more but I rather not do that at this point due to personal reasons.
@RareFine I don't know you nor your story, but I can only imagine. My heart goes out to parents who want their children, especially mothers but who, for whatever reason, loose their children. I don't have any kids, but I imagine between fighting depression due to the loss of your kids, and fighting for your kids, life would not be easy, so for those women who have the patience to jump through all the hoops to get back their kids, to me, that is one of the greatest accomplishments.
I guess all we can hope for is the system will do what is best for the children. If that is not the mama, its best that the children are not with her.
