Yes I know. I have seen the 4501 run in both Green and Black. The black it is currently in is great, but I liked the green better, even though it was not prototypical for any Southern freight power that I know of.
@tcarr22239 One of the standard freight engines for almost any railroad! A shame it isn't T & P 610, though. I would love to see that engine steam into Brunswick, Ga someday--nothin' better than a big road engine highballing through a grade crossing, whistle blowing, cinders flying, bell ringing, all to the amazement on everybody's face when they saw that train go by! Still, nothin's better than the sight of a coal burning steam engine, no matter how big or small it may be!
My brother ran this engine at Fort Eustis for the military. He was an instructor for the Army
