Are you refering to Giovanni or Arkan. you know Arkan is killed allmost 10 years ago and he was never general of the Serbian army. He had his own paramilitary units in Bosnia called Arkanovi tigrovi (Arkan's Tigers), and he was their General. He was never head of the Serbian army. And I didn't hear that Giovanni has any connections with serbian army now. I know that he and Arkan were very good friends, Giovanni was his legal advisor,and was helping him in running business.

when the journalist introduces him he says " He is the vice of Arkan and he has the grade of General of the Serbian armed forces".

i 've read many Giovanni's interviews in Italian where he clearly states that he is still general of the Serbian armed forces.
