@brynmgyr I think I was clear enough. To answer your question: I don't think that the level of tolerance can be intensified by provoking the major part of the society. There would be no problem with a simply, dignified demonstration, but there is deep mislike towards that sort of attitude (to make joke from the moral and religious belief of others, especially from the church and christianity). The threat is not the homosexuality by itself, it is the way of expressing it.

A person's decision about who he/she has sex with should not be made public. Gay pride marches are done to promote homosexuality. Non-homosexual people do not have marches promoting sex with the opposite sex, so homosexuals should not force their homosexuality on people who are not interested. There would be no problem with a simply, dignified demonstration, but there is deep mislike towards that sort of attitude (to make joke from the moral and religious belief of others, especially from the church and christianity). The threat is not the homosexuality by itself, it is the way of expressing it.
