  • this documentary is to educate new generation, not for argumental purposes !!! lot of people died during the first world war so lets show our respect for the dead and take a lesson from previous 2ww and hope never to happen again.

  • @orhun20 so much of the map was rearranged in ww one. new book The Sorrow and the Beauty.....they are in a way refighting that war on the world state right now.

  • @thepixieful yea agreed totally !! the main objective is to drain natural resources once again, i dont wanna imagine how today's wars gonna be like, espacial nowa days ppl dont have moralty. ppl killing each other like in a video game. no remorse, no empathy.

  • Allah kept turkey from being defeated Allah gave them hope and faith thats why the turkish won always]

  • The Ottoman Empire held their side up and more. If Germany hadnt lost on the Western Front, then Turkey would have held on to the Ottoman Empire and expanded it. The Turkish Army fought well.

  • ottoman was my grand dad thts why my name is osman

musatfa kemal attaturk is my father ...i am ready to fight the hole world

  • @londonsozzie yer right you little tossr

  • The only answer is in Crusade..!

  • pity this brilliant documentary doesnt tell much ab out the Caucasus front, battles later than Sarakamis and how Russians had spectacular successes as they were being defeated by the Germans.

  • i know arabs regret joining british.

  • Enver was an incompetent soldier a stupid and hopeless dreamer

  • WOAH '9:10' It wasn't Allah or the Germans that kept the Turks fighting?'

it seems all British need to make a stupid remark like that.

ONLY Allah kept the Turks fighting.

  • @TheAbsoluTurk

    Be quiet you muslim swine

  • @04:41 - Diary of REYNOLDS LECKY 'The men are dying fast off now from starvation, scurvy, neumoniaThe Tummys are sticking out better than the Indian troops, who refused to eat Mule or Horse ' Thumbs up for the Indian troops for their valor ,courage and Strict codes even facing starvation and death they refused to eat mules or horse meat Never head of such an act from a european let alone a soldier!!!!!

  • @5;20 they translate " kendi Gelen" Which actually means "came by its own"; as "God Sent "

They have added religious parts in to the presentation?!

After seing this I am starting to think this Documentary was not very accurate!

With the religious assumptions of what people wanna hear about an other faith rather than what is the reality.

It is easier to convince the average audience with stereo-typing

So to avoid ethnic s-typing please check for your own in future after u watch a documentary

  • Hirsiz hiristiyanlar

  • Doesn't this "documentary" leave out a large part of the history of those times such as, I don't know, the fact that the British eventually captured Baghdad in 1917, then Jerusalem, Damascus and Mosul in 1917/18 thus forever driving the Turks out of the entire region between the Mediterranean and the Zagros? It is true that Mustapha Kemal eventually rose up to drive the Europeans out of a much reduced Turkish state but weren't the British sipping tea in Constantinople in 1919?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @esalex94 It covers it in later parts of series. The full DVD collection has like 14 something parts, these 5 videos are only part 4. This documentary is probably the best one I have seen on WWI, it is the most in depth and unbiased documentary I have seen on the subject so far.

  • world is the best OTTOMAN TURKEY ..!

  • Bring back the Kalifa Osmania!!!!

  • @EMPIRE01233 thats what im talking about. Turkey was under occupation and then they pushed them back. there were many civillian ''gangs'', but they all needed a leader to unite all those ''gangs''. and then came Ataturk. but im not gonna talk about my country's history, because you woudnt believe half of them... have a good day

  • 'I'd rather not be a hero and have plenty to eat." I'd have a much heartier laughter if it was the damned Brit commandant going through. But I have no sympathy for British barbarians. Hell I have no sympathy for those from the British colonies (including the subcontinent), who were coward enough to shoot themselves in the foot and wear their uniforms.

  • the western powers played with these countries like 3 year olds playing with toys.

  • @nonfictionone no 'these countries' fucked the western ''powers''

  • @MJ4everTheKing you've got to be pretty uneducated to hold that opinion. But then again you do state that you 'don't like to read'.

  • @nonfictionone turkey was in a war with more then 5 countries....what did turkey do? they pushed them back to the seas and reclaimed theire country

  • @MJ4everTheKing turks have a unique history all their own. no one else seems to share it...i wonder why? :D

  • @teachinggypsy i dont really care, i know my countries history and i respect other countries. im just proud to be a turk and you must be proud of your origin too :D

  • @MJ4everTheKing I mean their own "version" of history. ;))

  • @MJ4everTheKing Turkey wanted to expand its empire...and ended up losing 75% of it.

  • @teachinggypsy it was not Turkey idiot, it was the ottoman empire. and greedy people and corrupt assholes screwed up. but dont change the subject. You just cannot deny that Turkey was strong back then ( 5 countries vs Turkey = win turkey = fail enemies) and turkey is still strong now.

  • @MJ4everTheKing Sorry, I simply called it Turkey because YOU CALLED IT TURKEY. Look at your own post. So who is the idiot? ;) "Turkey" was being called "the Sick Man of Europe" for generations, being propped up and defended by alliances with the British and French who sought to keep the balance of power in the region. It had been declining for generations. Instead of believing all the nationalist nonsense you were taught at school you ought to read some real history. You might enjoy it. ;)

  • @teachinggypsy first of all dont talk like you know everything about history because you only know 5 % of the history of the ottoman empire and turkey. and second of all i wasnt born in turkey, i was born and raised in Holland and i have learned everything on my Dutch history lessons. so no nationalist nonsense here dumbass. Its only a fact that the ottoman empire was a powerfull empire at his prime time and turkey as you know it now is growing! the economy an militairy is getting more powerful

  • @MJ4everTheKing Great, I'm arguing with a macho Dutch 15 year old....

  • @teachinggypsy and yet your ''loosing''

  • @MJ4everTheKing "and yet your "loosing"?? :D :D :D Quick, grab a dictionary and a non-Turkish history book! hahahahahaha! you fucking brainwashed, backwater idiot. :D :D :D

  • @teachinggypsy you have nothing against me idiot and you just cant handle the fact that you coudnt find anything to say! just go back to your fucked up life! oh and brainwashed backwater idiot??? arent those words too hard for you you cunt? just accept the fact that the ottoman was a powerfull and PROUD nation! and you will see that turkey becomes a powerfull nation, even more powerfull than it is right now. dont wake up the 'ottoman empire that lives in the hearts of the turkish people.....

  • @MJ4everTheKing

Lol, typical angry Turk. So bitter at your countries third world status. If Turkey sank into the sea, I doubt anyone would even notice. Such a backward, pitiful excuse for a nation.

Even Turks don't want to live in third world shithole Turkey, that's why they all emigrate to Europe LOL.

  • @madhammudeux Well Turkey is technically part of Europe but i would care we would lose Constantinople the capital of the Byzantines and the country that use to defend Christian Europe, and that song Istanbul or Constantinople would have no meaning and that song is catchy.

  • @MJ4everTheKing

Turkey lost the war you idiot.

  • @madhammudeux turkey didnt lose this war

  • @MJ4everTheKing Yeah pushed less than a mile in 9 months, while the British lacked supplies and the Turks occupied the high ground.

Moreover, they STILL lost their empire what achievements.

  • @gotsda What about canakkale?? you coudnt take Istanbul and you know it.. and your excuse for loosing your pathetic war is because we had the high ground? yes its true, a grenade rolling from a hill is a pain in the ass. but the ''soldiers'' were just civillians trying to defend, not their country, but their family... thats why we won....

  • @gotsda A empire should be judged by it history and its place in history in the entire world of history. In this the Ottoman empire is perhaps one of the Empires that made the world as it is today. One can not say otherwise it was one of the grand powers. Tell me do we view Spain as a failure cause it last its lands and money? I find myself saying "no" if they ever did become such a power at any point then we can in my view look at teh inpact they had on history.

  • @nonfictionone nationalist Turks never like to read...it might disturb what the believe. :D

  • indian moslems were always anti-british but brits are masters of divide and conquer politics back then.

  • @Rico8458 you had the German Empire, the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, and the Ottoman Empire, Bulgaria ect. fighting for you. This means you were allied with MANY states.

  • @Rico8458 More like the other way around. Muslims and hinduis were untied under the British empire. Imperialism is what united them. Now they fight each other.

  • @fargonbastedge looks like they would have still been better off under the British than they are now n this also applies to Cyprus life was peaceful n good under the British my late grandmother told her her mother n father took her t Limassol to welcome the British after they took Cyprus from the turks n they used to call them blonde angels yet after less than 100 years wanted the British out n they paid the price for it
