I really can't believe how many people had problems with Altima. You just have to hit her three times with anything that does 999 damage and she dies. Easy to do:

1. Any standard character with sub math skill... make them a black mage, give them the faith rod and cast holy. 999 damage.

2. Reis the dragon in human form. Main Lancer, sub Monk. Give her all equipment that ups her attack power + Javiln2. 999 damage per swing.

3. Orlandu, level 99. Chaos Blade. Holy Explosion. 999 damage.

Game over.

@shanethefox Oh, I'm not saying you need this combo exactly to win. I'm just saying this is the easiest one to do.Getting a character to level 99 is super easy in this game.

I'm just saying with this setup you can win the battle in three turns. I'm sure there's plenty of ways to win this battle. It's actually not a hard battle at all. I'm just saying, three turns and the game's over.

You can easily download files with previously unusable characters for War of the Lions (PSP port of FFT). I found a file with all of the Knights Templar on it. And if you look, you could probably find one with Altima as well.

The only thing is, is that their sprites and portraits in the party roster screen are messed up. But in battle, it works just fine.

I'm not with Final Fantasy 7 but in my opinion,i consider it the mightiest boss because he/she wiped my whole party with All-Ultima because I wasn't able to sprinkle my chars fast enough so I ended up losing.And it's anoying Dispelja and Grand Cross still makes some problems.

So it's one of the mighitiest boss in my opinion.I would like to make a vote pool to se if everybody thinks like me.

I do not know, michaeltowriss, I beat Sephiroth much quicker than Altima.

Not only that, but I think I had more close calls with Ultimica than Altima or Sephiroth. (That Hell's Judgment spell is a pain in the ass, so is Kefka's Fallen One and Sephiroth's Heartless Angel)

Than again, Sephiroth hardly used Heartless Angel when I fought him... ^_^"

Personally I believe 'Grand Cross' to be far superior. It will inflict just about any status change to the enemy and it can be layered.

Awesome, I'd love to see more vids of the awesome stuff you can do with sharked FFT like playing as various guest characters and all the magic you can use that was taken out of the game.
