Most of those are Mata mata's from the Orinocco population. The only Amazon turtle I saw was at 1:08. I finally learned the difference last weekend..........thanks to the worldy traveled and world's formost turtle expert.......

no. you can get hatchlings for about $200. Id deffinatley buy this turtle, the price isnt what turns me away though, its the size they get. Unless your going to put it in a pond (which i wouldnt do, or recomend becuase they need certain warm temps) a large enough aquarium is the problem.
