  • stop motion?

i first thought it was an animated 3d movie,

then now i know it's a 5 years work of stop motion.

    WOW

  • Imagine threading THAT needle...

  • I really want to try knitting something small now........but how?.......How did she make those needles!

  • what is the name of the song in the background!><

  • @DaggerDuck an original soundtrack

  • It's incredible how she makes these patterns at such a small scale! My respect! I believe she is the only person in the world that is doing miniature knitter. Although 3D computer animation takes a lot of time too, I think stop motion animation takes a bit more effort and patience. There are advantages in 3D computer animation and that is duplication and the animation itself. Still, the modeling, lightning, etc is the same process! Unfortunately stop motion will be more and more unique and rare.

  • i wish they still made other movies like this

  • i am just like her i alays look for something to shrink and then to make it i <3 this movie its in my top 5!

  • And she's single!

  • it like a magic thing she nittes and she makes a sweeter that is tiny xx its just magic

  • its like shes knitting with sewing needles its amazing

  • I LOVE NEIL GAIMAN

  • if i still played with Barbies, i would love for her to design my doll's outfits!

  • Wow... when I first watched this movie I thought, "Bad animation." but now I think, "Amazing! I think I'll watch it again."

  • 6 weeks to 6 months???? OMG. And I couldn't even finish my one-page essay due tomorrow. :{

  • Wow... that would be very frustrating...

  • how can you do this without getting stressed!

  • SHE'S PERFECT FOR STOP MOTION PEOPLE!!

  • This film has so much art in it, way more than most movies made today. I really, really love this work.

  • she seriously has a LOT of patience lol

  • enjoy viewing the total edition with that motion picture in a+v+a+t+z.net remove +

  • I have one question...

WHERE THE HECK DO THEY FIND THESE PEOPLE??!?!?!

  • oh my god. art so much of it

  • oh my god. art so much of it

  • it was awesome!!!shes amazing!!that is so hard omigod~!!!~!

  • How much can she earn for doing all this!?!

  • when i first saw the trailer on tv i thought it was another 3d computer animated movie... but now i realize that this movie has wayyyyyy more work and thought put into each frame :o

  • @spikeymike07 i know you're trying flatter the makers of this movie, but that's incredibly ignorant of you; some buildings that have been made in 3d have cost nearly as much to make as it would in real life because of the detail some people go into. Honestly, how much do you know about the business? modelling? texturing? skinning? rigging? setting physics? applying forces? use of particles? animation? lighting? shading? projection? 3d isn't chosen because it's easy, but because of what it allows

  • woww,this must be a hard job

  • Ok , all I know after this movie . She don't have to work anymore knowing she is among the highest paid employee

  • to work with something like this must be the best work you can imagine *-*

  • O.o

  • I like 1:31 since it lets u get up close to coralines outfit

  • its these people behind the actual movie who make the movie such a success and once u get to know about it, u absolutely fall in love with the movie

  • Watching this was fascinating, but also kind of painful because I keep imagining how much my fingers would ache after knitting so small.

This must take major skill and patience! You're awesome!

  • she is so cool and has major skilage!!!!!

  • 1:22 ... woah. SKILLZZ!

    how cool is she?!!

  • WOW!!! SUGOI!!

  • i have to admit that its kind of cute

  • The word's smallest needles!!! I'm learning how to knit, but I don't think I could ever knit with those ha so small I'm sure it would prick my fingers as if I was sewing because they are that tiny! I love the clothing in this movie, Coraline is always dressed so fashionably cute :D

  • truly the whole team of ppl who made Coraline r truly amazing i luv that movie & stop motion animation!

  • truly, you are amazing

  • how could she knit that small?!?!

  • and i thought it was computer

  • WOW! That is an art form!

  • I can't believe there is a person like her patient enough to make doll cloth out of knitting..........

  • it's a passion.

  • how did they find her?

  • More importantly...

...does she get PAID for this?!?!?!?

  • of course she gets paid. i'd imagine she got like tons of money off of doing this since no one really knits like her. i mean.. she's incredible.
