memory is a seting in ur bios and its reserving some ram for pci operartons so just look around in u bios and make sure its x64

I just got the GTX 275 as well and it KICKS SO MUCH ASS!- It drives my 40" at 1920X1080 with 4XAA in Crysis at 25-40 fps at its highest settings with graphics enhancing mods which is even more demanding. I love this gpu.

When I game I use these: "Beyer Dynamic DT770" ...google that.  Best pair of headphones I have ever heard, and Ive used the latest and greatest from Steelseries, Tritton, Razer, Logitech, u name it...Nothing sounds as good or isolates better than those. When I have em on, the outside world is completely silent to me. ;D

Which i7 mobo did you go with?? I try to get as many opinions as possible.

But yea this card without a doubt is the best bang for the buck in the GTX series stuff. If youre a good over-clocker, then you can make this thing smoke a stock 285.

But then again, its only $184 for me to step up to a 295 coop withonly have 27 days left. i7 parts?? or gpu?!

lol my mobo is an evga x58 3x sli, that's a realy good one..... and if i were you i'll go with the mobo and the cpu because first of all you will have the latest technology and with the mobo you can go up to 12 gig of ram and also the gtx 275 1792mb is a realy good card and with the combination of the i7 and this card you will have a massive computer! and you will be able to play all games maxed out with good fps.

Yea I've always been an evga enthusiast and thats who I was planning on going with. The asus p6t deluxe has some nice stuff and the layout is sexy...but evga just has so many perks that come with it. Thanks man.

exactly. I can actually run cryusis maxed out all the way in every setting possible...a little choppy, but playable.

I have yet to run gta iv on my rig X_X .....waiting for the fund to buy a game i know im only gonna play for benchmarking purposes LOL

id say so.....newer technology is newer technology...most current released mobos are already 2.0 ready. Most cards since the 8 series have been 2.0 so the mobo manufacturers built it in to their newer stuff.

I'd say so. This things handles anything I throw at it. I wouldnt be so sure if I had the lesser one.

Oh and about the OS, i run 64 bit.....I came to read that its my mobo, it has lots of issues with 4gb....just gotta get a new one.

Yea my next buy is going to be the evga 790i FTW. I bought this cheap ass asus board cuz I was over anxious and couldnt afford anything over par. GOnna get that mobo and and one of them sexy Q9550's then I should be rockin'. Thanks for the advice! :D

All 4 sticks are good cuz Ive changed them out and made sure they all 4 work. Ive tried installing the windows updates that are recommended, jumping/clearing my cmos, fresh install of vista, checked all bios settins, even updated my mobo bios to the most recent version.. NADS. :( oh wells.
