Hi there, as long as you're using arborio rice (sometimes called italian rice), you can pretty much add whatever ingredients you want.
Arborio rice makes the distinctive sauce that sets a risotto apart from a pilaf.

hii.... man, itz a great vid. i got a question can ya do it as well unless shrimps n just wi' rice n kinda nutts? it'd be sweet rice, i luv wht ya done, great job mate. welll done. im a cheff learner btw..... :)
