  • I have watched this show since I was a child and I never ever grow tired of them!

Phile Silvers was a comdey genuis of his time,

a shme is tallent wasnt appreciacted as it would be today!!

  • keep up the good work, this is one of the very best episodes, best one I haven't seen on here yet is the brilliant 'Bilko Gets Some Sleep', one of the contenders for the very best episode. Keep loading them up. Excellent.

  • Was this show live originaly?

  • No; it was always on film and originally shot at DuMont (now WNYW FOX-5 in New York) and later CBS's "Hi Brown" Studios in Chelsea. When it moved to the CBS facility, each episode was shot like a movie and later shown to a live audience for the recording of their reactions. Any resemblance to "McHale's Navy" and "Car 54, Where Are You?" are perfectly intentional; they were all created by Nat Hiken. ("McHale's Navy" was the only one from Hollywood.)
