He's an inspirational human being but I'm afraid I find all this praise for God a little hard to take. God didn't build the computer he got his degrees on, or the chair he moves around in. He presumes (and you all happily agree) that God made him this way for a purpose when he admits himself that there is no cause for his condition. Why does faith find such fuel in suffering? I'm not out to offend, I simply don't understand it.The message of hope here is all too human and beautiful for it.

@sashsh88 Sorry but I am pretty sure he isn't really happy. He may be happy for finding "God", but he learned to cope with his condition. He even states that he suffered for so long. Coping with a condition could give off false pretenses of being happy, but he is not happy that he has no limbs. Ask him and let him think about, I can tell you he would want limbs if he had the choice.

Much like people born with diseases or born homosexual. These people suffer too, and they don't have a choice.

He brought me into christianity, and brought my father out of his depression, and he could not have done this with limbs. Essentially, God took away his limbs, but gave him the ability to touch teh hearts of millions of people around the world.

Thats really illogical of him to do. Why make him suffer to touch our hearts. So the rest of the world can become much happier by sacrificing a man of his limbs and put him through so much suffering before he could learn to cope with it.

What about the other people suffering like people on well fare, people in need of medical attention, the homeless, people who are picked on in school for being different, people born as homosexual or with a mental illness.

Why would God do that?!
