Cool video of an Osprey. These particular types of aircraft have a bad reputation though for mechanical failures. I don't see them lasting long in the military. I've never been to Ocracoke though. Is there a lot of establishments in the area dedicated to Blackbeard himself or Edward Teach? I'm a historian to pirate history, and I'd love to visit the area sometime soon.
i work on the osprey and i can tell you right now that this aircraft is going to have a long life in the military. the problems you speak of have all been fixed and when was the last osprey crash almost 7 years ago. its funny ch-46's and ch-53's had more crashes in the first ten years then the osprey had. so why don't you get your facts straight before you start making comments on something u know nothing about. other then that it was a pretty cool vid.
you're doing the right thing, correcting people about the V-22, but openly admitting to military service and then conducting yourself in such a harsh and brazen manner is wrong. Please think harder about what you type before you type it, less you reflect discredit on your branch of service.

i made no comment about being in the military i just said i work on the osprey. there are civilians that work on the v-22
