2006 Spec V = $9.5k-13k (175-hp 2.5L 6-speed)

2008 C300 Sport = $25k-30k (228-hp 3.0L V6 7-speed)

Price difference = $15.5k-17k enough to get a VQ35DE swap for about $4,500 and jumping to 250-hp and I/H/E =P You'll have a sleeper Enough Said!

Dude, the C300 Sport is not a race car!! The C63 is and maybe the C350 if you mod it a bit. I have the C300 and the only way I would drive it fast is to overtake someone or beat out a red light. Other than that, it's a Luxury Sport car, not a Sport Luxury car.

The C300 is the the low car of the C Class line. It was stock, and it had an extra passenger. The spec-v had an intake, exhaust and no extra passenger. I didn't realize the C300 was that quick! That sentra runs low 15's without the mods. Not bad

Driving a Spec V takes a decent amount of driving skill, something that was clearly lacking from that Spec driver. Maybe if he had an auto like the benz he wouldn't have to worry about being a bad driver, any idiot can just hit the gas. Still that car is next to stock with only those mods, it needs a header to really free up some power. I would love to see the benz take some turns like the Spec can, it would probably look like a sumo wrestler with all that body-roll those cars have lol.

This is trivial but relevant the Nissan Sentra is a 4 cylinder the Mercedes C300 is a 6 cylinder. Cubic displacement of a Nissan QR 25 DE is 2488-cc Mercedes Benz is 2996-cc a difference of 508-cc. Nissan 165HP to 175HP @ 6000 rpm and 180 lb·ft of torque @ 4000 rpm. Mercedes Benz 228 hp @ 6,000 rpm 221 lb-ft @ 2,700 - 5,000 rpm. Price point est. $12,000.00 difference. That said, the Sentra made a good show if that spec V was modified then the driver is a piss poor driver.

That is a c300, not a c63 amg. The c63 amg is a mid to low 12 second car in the 1/4 mile. The SE-R is a mid 15 second car whereas the C300 is a low 15 second car. And the base C-class is only less than double the cost of a SE-R. Not 3 times as much.

BTW, this is just a C300, which stock only puts down 228 hp. This car will likely run mid-low 15s, so the fight was reasonably fair. Sentra may have less hp, but is around 12-1400 lbs lighter than the C class. 7 speed transmission helps out A LOT, though.
